Professional background
I am Rocío Cerezo de CastellvíI am a clinical psychologist and therapist with over 10 years of training and professional experience in individual, group and couples therapy in Spanish, English and German. I have lived and trained in several countries, including Denmark, Brazil, Germany, Austria and Spain, which has allowed me to develop a broader perspective and strong intercultural sensitivity. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and nationalities (across Europe, the United States, India, Russia, among others), with a particular focus on individuals living in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This experience helps me better understand the challenges of living abroad, migration and adaptation processes, as well as the emotional difficulties that may arise in these contexts.
My therapeutic approach is focused on supporting individuals in overcoming emotional blocks and enhancing their psychological well-being, while fostering personal growth through self-awareness. I work to help each person become more aware of their relational patterns and learn to manage themselves more effectively on a cognitive, emotional and behavioral level.
Throughout my career, I have specialized in working with adolescents and adults facing difficulties in various areas, such as cognitive dysfunctions, emotional regulation problems, maladaptive behaviors, and interpersonal relationship conflicts. I also have extensive experience supporting couples who wish to improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their emotional bond.
My work is based on an integrative approach, combining tools from different therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, third-generation therapies, and systemic approaches, among others. This allows me to adapt to each person’s specific needs and provide personalized treatment.
I conceive the therapeutic space as a safe, non-judgmental, authentic, and respectful place where you can explore your experiences and emotions to get to know yourself, understand yourself, and generate meaningful changes that help you move forward in both your personal and professional life.
If you decide to begin this therapeutic process with me, we will embark on a deep journey into your inner world, with clear, realistic, and achievable goals. Together, we will work to help you gain greater emotional clarity and provide you with the tools necessary to make healthier decisions and live a fuller, more balanced life.

FAQ
Find quick answers to your most common questions about my services and online therapy.
How do I know if I need therapy?
If you’re going through a difficult time, feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, sad, anxious — or if you simply want to better understand yourself and improve your well-being — therapy can help. You don’t have to “feel bad” to seek support: therapy is also a space for growth, self-discovery, and prevention.
What is a first session like and what can I expect?
The first session lasts 30 minutes. It’s a space to get to know each other, explore your reasons for seeking therapy, and begin setting therapeutic goals.
It’s helpful to come with a bit of preparation: you can reflect on the symptoms you’re experiencing, how long you’ve been feeling them, and whether you can identify any possible triggers. This will help us make the most of our time and focus the support from the very beginning.
Does online therapy work the same as in-person therapy?
Yes. Online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most cases. Many people prefer it for its convenience and flexibility, as it allows them to access support from anywhere. I use secure platforms to ensure your privacy and comfort.
What kinds of problems or situations can I work on in therapy?
I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, or emotional blocks. I also support personal growth and emotional development processes.
How long does a session last and how often is it recommended to attend?
Individual sessions last 50 minutes. At the beginning, the frequency is usually weekly or biweekly, but it always adapts to your needs, availability, and therapeutic goals. What matters most is maintaining consistency to support the process.
What happens if I can’t attend a session or need to reschedule?
I understand that unexpected situations can arise. I only ask that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance so I can rearrange the schedule. Otherwise, the session will be considered completed. Rescheduling is simple, and I’ll always do my best to offer you alternatives as soon as possible.
How much does therapy cost and how is payment made?
Individual sessions (50 minutes) cost €89, and the initial 30-minute session is €39. You can also purchase a pack of 4 sessions with a 15% discount.
For couples therapy (75 minutes), the cost is €158, or you can choose a pack of 4 sessions with a 20% discount.
El pago se realiza por transferencia bancaria, Stripe y Paypal antes de cada sesión, en el momento de reservar tu cita.
Is my personal information and what I share confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Everything we discuss in session is protected by professional confidentiality. Confidentiality is a fundamental pillar of the therapeutic process, and your safety and privacy are always guaranteed.
